CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1996 Toyota Celica, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1996 Toyota Celica is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Michael M, owner of a 1997 Toyota from Snohomish, WA

Superb match I called my order in and had a very helpful lady on the other end taking car to get the other touchup paints I needed. I used the touch up pen on my BMW rock chips and it worked perfectly. Thank you for great service. Mike Milsom

Craig E, owner of a 1997 Toyota Paseo from Hewitt, TX

I repainted the rear spoiler and hood on a 97 Toyota Paseo. This paint was a really good match. I used the plastic bonding agent, primer, paint, and clearcoat. It looks really nice. This is a great product. I would use it again.
