To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. Phenomenal match.....................My daughter took off my hands a 1994 Toyota corolla and was embarrassed because it had faded spots of clear coat all over it and the trunk lid was spotted with missing paint. I wet sanded with 600 grit and then resprayed the lid and all the spots missing the clear-coat with some base color. A few days later put on the clear coat and wet sanded again with 1500 and 2000 followed with a quick buff and you would think the car just came out of the showroom.
