I was surprised at how big the pen tip was as much of the work I expected to do would be on small paint chips. I pushed the pen tip in to activate the paint flow. My first job as two 1/2' scratches on the vertical surface of the rear fender. The initial paint flow was OK but did not cover the entire area. The 2nd application had the paint flowing and dripping heavily all over. I wiped off the new paint and used a cleaner wax to clean up the mess. I am not sure I will try to use it again. A fine tipped brush would have worked much better.

I purchased an ABS Subaru Roof rear gate spoiler. I'm pretty good at bondo and sanding so I knew a cheap product could be made nice with work. What started off as a simple project turned into $200 of spray paint. Other companies had ok base coat and horrible top coat (pearl mix). I went thru to other companies and finally found this product on a Subaru forum. Wow! With proper prep work the base coat and top coat sprayed on very smoothly with excellent color match. I opted with a high gloss finish of which I will knock down with very fine wet sand paper and then I will buff it. I highly recommend this product. I wish I started off with it because I would have been done long ago.

The color match for my Subaru Forester was perfect. I never used a paint pen before this. I applied the paint a bit too thickly in some spots. To fix it I used a #7 polishing compound and it came out excellent.

I got the base coat, color and clear coat. Fixed small chips and one larger ding. Color match was good. I like how fast the paint dried and smooth the finish came out. A little compounding when done and looks good. Best if all the repair will prevent rusting.
