CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Subaru Crosstrek, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Subaru paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Subaru Crosstrek is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Eugene H, owner of a 2008 Subaru Legacy from Berlin, NJ

I rarely send feedback of any kind but at you're request I'm happy to respond. I have tried three other kinds of allegedly matching touch-up paints. The 1st was a on-line company that sold touch-up pens, their felt tips seemed like a good idea but they dried-up after the 1st or 2nd use (I bought several). As well they did not produce much paint and the color was off. The 2nd was the touch-up brand you find in most automotive stores. The color was way off, there wasn't much paint and the applicator allowed no accuracy. The 3rd I purchased from Subaru but it had the same problems as the store purchased paint. I suspect it was the same product with a Subaru label. Finally I bought some of your paint. As I began to apply the paint It was very difficult to tell the difference between the freshly applied paint and the rest, it matched perfectly. And it came in a large bottle that won't dry-out from one use to another. I recommend buying several of the micro applicators they are perfect for scratches and rock chips. The ship wait time of two weeks could be improved on but in the end it was worth the wait.
