CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2003 Subaru B9 Tribeca, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Subaru paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2003 Subaru B9 Tribeca is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Great color match....quick service....thank you.

John W, owner of a 2003 Subaru from Atlantic Beach, FL

I own a 2003 Subaru Outback with the two-tone paint (silver body and a golden-ish color on the bumpers and door guards). The front and back bumpers were severely chipped, increasingly showing the bare white plastic. This made the car look really old and worn. Instead of having a body shop paint it (to the tune of $400-$600), I bought two cans of paint and one can of clearcoat from Automotive Touchup. The company provided just the right information for me to be able to match the paint (where to find the paint code on the car). I cleaned the bumpers well by scraping chipping paint and then sanding. I painted both bumpers and the car looks terrific. It has only been a few weeks but it withstood a long road trip and some bad weather quite well. I would definitely use this company and their products again. The finish on my car is indistinguishable from the factory paint. John in Jacksonville FL
