The amount or size of metallic on my car is not the same from side to side but I was able to control the spray and get a nice looking match. Sorry for the delay in my response, but Life and Covid-19 have got in the way for some months.
As I have never worked Plastic before, it was with great trepidation I took on this repair in the first place. I was even more unsure as the bumper foundation is Black and no primer was recommended under such a light color as this silver.
I needn't have worried.
I was so pleasantly surprised to find a FAN SHAPED NOZZLE! In my experience this is unheard of in a rattle can! Made application a breeze. I used it as I would a regular DeVilbiss gun.
As the base color was very dark and the paint was silver, several coats were required for complete coverage, but I had Plenty of paint. After the clear coat is applied, the light has to be *Just Right* before the patch shows at all. Color match is as close as the human eye is capable of detecting.
Had I not done it myself, I would never have thought it possible.
