I had never attempted auto body work or paining, however I am familiar with using spray pait in a can using light passes and masking.
The order process for the paint was easy and delivery was as expected. I got a bit of scratch filler, some assorted wet dry sandpaper. I carefully filled in the gouges and paint scratches on my daughter's Outback bumpers, sanded and resanded until I was happy it was flat and smooth, and then masked the area and used the Automotive Touch up paint, doing several very light coats, maybe 6 or 7. After a day, I buffed the new paint and covered it with Clear Coat. I was quite pleased witht the result. You can see it if you look for it, but the casual passer-by would never notice. It was exactly what we needed, as I wasn't spending hundreds at a body shop on a teenagers car that's worth $2500.

Perfect paint match on a 20 year old Forester. Fantastic quality spray can was easy to apply paint evenly without splatter. I'm not a good spray painter so of course I was happy to just follow can direction and get professional results. Thank you!
