To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2012 Scion IQ, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I painted an aftermarket wing on my 2013 Scion XB. It's the unusual CRIMSON RED MICA color. The paint match was perfect. The metallic was also spot on. I then cleared it with the 2-K urethane clear. It went on like a professional spray gun, is very shiny and dried (cured) fast. A factory look for about 40. I saved 300 over the dealer installed spoiler.
