To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 Scion IM, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. Bought this paint for a touch up job almost a year ago and it went on as expected, it's been holding great since then and the car has gone through lots of harsh weather and moisture. The color was just about spot on especially when the bare metal was properly cleaned and prepped. When first sprayed it goes on a little darker so depending upon the location of the car you may want to be careful how your spraying. Overall was excellent and I would definitely recommend this product to another. Once the job was completed and the car was waxed and buffed it is just about impossible for me to tell where the scrape was.
