CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2010 Scion IM, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Scion paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2010 Scion IM is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

John B, owner of a 2009 Scion TC from Londonderry, NH

Everything worked out great. I painted a brand new pre primed plastic aftermarket front bumper cover on a ‘09 TC. 3 cans of white 3 cans of matte clear coat. My garage was 63F while base coat and clearing and everything came out acceptable. Getting used to spraying and avoiding dripping took some getting used to. Just make sure your finger is not hanging over the nozzle or it’ll drip on to what you’re spraying. I do recommend the spray “gun” attachment as your hand will be dead after several minutes of spraying, the nozzle takes a lot of pressure to hold down. Turned out as expected and would recommend to anyone. I used paint code 040 Toyota or Scion “Bright White” and it matched. Quality was there.

Tim, owner of a 2010 Scion xB from Minneapolis, MN

Toyota told me the touchup paint was expensive and a special order at the dealership. I scrapped my ground effects on a curb and order your paint and wow it matches great and I haven't even put the clear coat on yet. I'm going to buy some for my Toyota T100 which the dealer doesn't stock anymore.
