CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Scion TC, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Scion paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Scion TC is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

John B, owner of a 2009 Scion TC from Londonderry, NH

Everything worked out great. I painted a brand new pre primed plastic aftermarket front bumper cover on a ‘09 TC. 3 cans of white 3 cans of matte clear coat. My garage was 63F while base coat and clearing and everything came out acceptable. Getting used to spraying and avoiding dripping took some getting used to. Just make sure your finger is not hanging over the nozzle or it’ll drip on to what you’re spraying. I do recommend the spray “gun” attachment as your hand will be dead after several minutes of spraying, the nozzle takes a lot of pressure to hold down. Turned out as expected and would recommend to anyone. I used paint code 040 Toyota or Scion “Bright White” and it matched. Quality was there.

Michael S, owner of a 2009 Scion tC from Parsons, WV

The color matched well. The result was only limited by my abilities. That being said, my abilities are limited but I don't think anyone will ever know it's not original.

Thomas B, owner of a 2009 Scion tC from Smithton, PA

I have not used the most recent paint, but I suspect it will be as accurate as the past paints have been. Hard to beat their paint match on factory colors.

Douglas Allen, owner of a 2009 Scion tC from Verona, NJ

Needed to paint some "paint-to-match" mirror covers after my daughter's apartment building parking attendants managed to bang up both of her side mirrors. Bought the adhesion promoter/primer, basecoat to match her car and the clearcoat. The job came out near perfect. Would use you again without reservation.
