CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Scion TC, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Scion paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 Scion TC is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

The paint was great and matched up perfectly, but I would be hesitant to order again because of how long it took to ship.

Gary F, owner of a 2008 Scion tC from Chalfont, PA

WOW....again I used your products. This time to prep and paint my aftermarket side shirts. Paint shop wanted all most $300.00 I did it for under $75.00....WOW

Gary F, owner of a 2008 Scion tC from Chalfont, PA

WOW can't believe I did it myself. I had 2 Body Kit pieces that I took to several Body Shops. Some Shops didn't want to do it, and a few others wanted $300-$400 to paint. I spent about $60.00 with you, read and followed your directions, and the job turned out GREAT! Thanks very much.

Brandon M, owner of a 2008 Scion tC from Santa Paula, CA

Honestly, while the color match was fantastic (among the best I've seen), the lacquer clear coat (like all lacquers) just isn't durable. When you order, get the urethane clear and a respirator. The clear lacquer is already scratching just from daily driving after a week and while it polishes nicely with a rotary or DA, only the urethane clear is worth your efforts. (FYI, the tips for novices on their website are all a great start). Otherwise, it's great color matching, great primer, great cans and nozzles.

Love it!! Perfect color and price. Will do business again! Thank you!

Robert C, owner of a 2008 Scion tC from Birmingham, AL

Color match was good enough (not perfect) and delivery was super fast. I will use Automotive Touchup again, as needed.

Chai T, owner of a 2008 Scion tC from Stockton, CA

Always love the match. Best paint match I have ever used.

Delivered on time. Very satisfied with the product. Highly recommend.

Jason G, owner of a 2008 Scion tC from Lompoc, CA

I bought a spray can of color matched paint for my Scion Tc to paint a mirror that was broken off. I was slightly skeptical that the paint would match but I had heard good things about this site from online Scion forums. The paint was a PERFECT match and the price was great. I also got a can of Clear Coat that was also top shelf. I should have bought their Primer being that the one I bought at walmart was garbage. I couldn't be happier with this site and its products. If and when I need more factory matched paint i will be sure to go here.

Lisa, owner of a 2008 Scion tC from Laurel, MD

Ended up having to replace a piece of the ground effects kit on a tC1. Spray paint with clear coat is perfect match. Very pleased!
