To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Scion TC, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I've used your paint product on several different vehicles over the past 3 or 4 years, and have always been very pleased with the results. The option of custom matched paint in a spray can is SO much better than those teeny little bottles of touch up paint that has to be brushed on! With the spray, it naturally feathers out at the edges, so it blends in a whole lot better. I haven't had issues with the paint color not matching the vehicle, and the contents of the spray can seem to last a long time as well, for future touch ups. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to touch up even larger dings and chips.
