To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker called Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. I purchased the aerosol spray to do some sections on my daughter's 12 year old car which spends all of its time outside. Sections of the car had lost it's clear coat and damaged the base coat. Following the directions here I prepped the surface, sprayed the base coat and sprayed the clear coat, then wet sanded and then used rubbing compound. It may sound like a lot of steps but it really wasn't that hard. I was very pleased with the results. The base coat had the correct mix of metal flake and it matched the rest of the car.
