To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2004 Saturn Ion, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker called Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. The basecoat spray paint goes on very well and is the lowest priced on the web. The nozzles put out a consistent pattern. My only criticism is that online coupons don't seem to be honored by your firm and it does take a bit too long to get paint. I realize that every order is a custom order, but I have a car that I need to finish up and sell. Some kids in the neighborhood apparently covered the car with coca cola and it baked in the sun resulting in unwanted crinkle coat to almost bare metal on many spots. The car's a 2003 saturn ion 3.
