To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2001 Saturn LW2, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Paint color was perfect. However, I had a difficult time spraying the lacquer to get an even finish. This may be due to high humidity at the time - about 65%. Overall, the project turned out OK, but not the perfect result I was looking for. Perhaps it would take a slight buffing to even out the lacquer. I am open to some advice from you as to what type of finish wax or polish to use to even out the lacquer. The Bandit respirator mask worked very well - will never do a spray job again without it.
