To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1998 Saturn SL1, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker called Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. The saturn w260b green is a "pine" green. The touchup version of this color seems to not have quite enough blue in it (or too much yellow). The color is very close, but not exact. If you put enough touchup paint on, can make it dark enough.. and with four or five coats of clear 2k max, can make the shine deep enough that the color difference is not detectable from 20 feet. Up-close inspection, the color difference is only slightly noticeable. As green is one of the hardest colors to match, I am very impressed. Overall this is a great product and I will buy it again.

Pretty good color match overall, can't beat the price to quality ratio. Paint went on well without problem. Shipping is a little slow and I had to keep shaking the 2 oz touch up paint as the gold wanted to separate (falling to the bottom) from the black paint, but that could be just the way it's supposed to be mixed.
