I own a 2009 Saab 97X and the hood has completely rusted out. I purchased a new hood and tried painting it myself. I ordered the primer, paint, clearcoat and HVLP gun from Automotive Touch up. I was surprised how easy the job was. My only mistake was putting the clearcoat on a bit too heavy. I am going to fine sand with 1500-3000 paper and buff in the next few weeks.
