CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1973 Saab (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Saab paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1973 Saab (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Charles L, owner of a 1995 Saab 900 from Cleveland, OH

great product perfect match !

George M, owner of a 2002 Saab 9-5 from Cold Spring Harbor, NY

So glad I found your products. I had some larger scratches where a touch up brush just wouldn't look good. I used the AutomotiveTouchup Aerosol Spray and the color and texture was a perfect match. I couldn't ask for more from a do it yourself aerosol. Looks great. Thanks!

Daniel W, owner of a 2004 Saab 9-3 from Buffalo, NY

I used the primer, touch up paint and clear coat on my vehicle. While the coatings helped to cover some of the bumper scratches, the use of the pen seemed to leave an uneven finish. A spray may have looked better.
