Restore Your 2010 Pontiac 6000 Finish In Two Steps

Select Your Pontiac's Color (Step One)

AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2010 Pontiac 6000 using a basecoat/clearcoat system just like factory specs. To insure a proper match, you’ll need to know your vehicle’s color code, so you can find it on the chart below. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2010 Pontiac 6000 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Charles F, owner of a 2009 Pontiac Solstice from Tucson, AZ

I've tried plastidip but disliked the feel and ease of removal. I then tried a CF vinyl wrap and liked the look but I didn't like the overall quality. At the Solstice/Sky Nationals I parked next to a Brazen coupe with the targa center and they had the surround in Brazen. For me, I liked the match. I then purchased from automotivetouchup.com and a clear coat. I sanded it down with 1000 grit, taped, covered and sprayed about 4 light coats of base and 4 coats of clear. I let it bake in the 100 degree sun yesterday and will wait until next week to 2000 grit sand and buff. Truthfully there is very little orange peel to it and may not be needed. I do have a couple spots due to the tape to touch up but very minor. As to the color, the paint can was spot on. I was worried that the gold fleck in the paint was not going to be there and while painting the base, you could not see it until the base coat dried. But the comparison of fresh paint to the paint on the car is just right. I'm happy with it and thought I'd share the pics. Not my best camera day since I used my itouch but it shows the results. Overall the work was easy. A couple hours of time. Mostly waiting for time to cure between coats. My car with CF wrap next to coupe. http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa409/cdflint/SANY0067_zps070459b3.jpg Masking and sanded http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa409/cdflint/IMG_0680_zps1ec8da3a.jpg Painted http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa409/cdflint/IMG_0681_zpsf8423897.jpg Completed http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa409/cdflint/IMG_0682_zps762c4c8a.jpg Extra shot http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa409/cdflint/IMG_0683_zps0d0c3fa0.jpg Closer pics. http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa409/cdflint/IMG_0684_zps6a4aea53.jpg http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa409/cdflint/IMG_0687_zps50789e61.jpg
