To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2006 Pontiac Solstice, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. Expert color match to GM/Pontiac paint code. Car is 9 years old and I expected the paint on the car to have faded due to UV exposure. The touch-up paint I bought from AutomotiveTouchUp was a fantastic spot-on match. Not a shade lighter or darker. The touch up paint is fluid enough to easily use and apply the correct amount and the built-in brush is high quality. Highly pleased with this product and the Top Clear Coat product as well. Both products come in glass jars with tight sealing caps and help prevent solvent dry-out, unlike plastic containers from other companies and car dealerships. All future needs will be purchased from AutomotiveTouchUp company and not auto stores or car dealerships.
