To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I had a few small chips in the paint of my car. The small bottle and applicator was perfect for what I needed! I was amazed at the exact match of color! There is some shimmer in this and as I applied it, the spot almost immediately vanished! I had a hard time finding where to go back and apply the topcoat! I am very impressed and pleased with the ease of purchasing and applying this product as well as the accuracy of the color! On a side note: try not to spill the paint down your arm! I lost my balance and did this. While it was fun to match my car for a few minutes, it takes some work to wash off! Lol! But it also just went to show how durable this paint is too!
