A friend started the project which was up a hole in the bumper and never finished I drove around for a year with a gray primered hood and bumper and it looked terrible. Got two different colors of paint for some auto repairs I was doing. The first for the Honda was a little dark but still better than the touch up color I received from the dealer. The second for the Pontiac was near perfection, and I ended up getting a second can as the task took more paint than I'd originally expected.

The Auto touch up products matched perfectly. No problem with the products just a short review on how not to take this short-cut.
My problem with the job was how I chemically treated the rust pits. Rather than grinding them out and repairing the metal I tried Phosphoric acid which chemically changes iron oxide (rust) to iron phosphate which is a black, (glass hard) substance.
After treatment, I filled the pits with spot filler and then primed the whole mess. The paint job was near perfect with the aerosol cans of base and clear coat.
Note: prep problem
I should have treated the inside metal as well as bubbles occurred after a rain. Looks like you will get a repeat order from me!
