CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2002 Pontiac Sunfire is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Harold M, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire from Fort Worth, TX

the color match was spot on and indiscernible from the rest of the car. I did have trouble with laying down the clear coat as thick as it was on the car. My finish ended up to be more of a matt finish but okay for what I was trying to accomplish. My customer was happy. thanks

Larry F, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire from Erie, PA

I was quite pleased with the result. I purchased aerosol cans of GM code 312C. I would use this supplier again.

Rhonda W, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire from Murrysville, PA

Great! The paint and clear coat came fast and it matches the paint on my silver sunfire exactly! I am very pleased. I had just a small area of rust that needed to be repaired so I have plenty of paint and clear coat left for any future areas. Thank you!

Brian L, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire from Buffalo, NY

Bought my daughter her first car a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire. This car now being 11 years old there was some surface rust just starting. My daughter and I just took it in to see what it would cost to get rid of the surface rust. We were told approx. $1,100. My neighbor's car a 2012 Dodge Avenger was hit in a parking lot and the paint was scraped off. She took her car in for an estimate and was told $800, which she would have to pay the first $500 as her deductible. I found this site and was amazed, this site even told me where to find the paint codes. After I found the codes for both cars, I then checked into what I would need to repair both cars. My total bill for everything I needed was $44.07. It took about 10 day to be delivered, but it was understandable due to the spray cans. However, to make a long story short I did both cars in one weekend. My neighbor said she can't even find where the damage was done. As for my daughter's car, it looks almost as good as the day it was made. Automotive touch up will be the only place I get auto paint from, colors were a perfect match. In fact I am getting ready to purchase more paint. Some touch up for my 2012 HHR, but mainly some spray cans, and clear coat for my wife's 1994 Geo Prizm.
