CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2002 Pontiac Grand Am is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Scott S, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am from Hibbing, MN

Job came out good, can't even tell the spot I touched up.

Rich, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am from VA

Fantastic! I repainted the front bumper and rear spoiler which were both scratched and sun damaged with the clear coat peeling. I followed your video and the results were amazing. The color is an exact match. Thank you.

Kenneth F, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am from Savannah, GA

I think the paint was a great match. I used the suggested clear coat from your help professional's. I do have some background in aircraft sheet metal which help in the prep work. Finish product pro grade. Thanks Kenneth F. Savannah Ga.

David O, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am from Antelope, CA

Great color match on both vehicles. I had tried several products available locally and they did not come close to the match of the color on the vehicles. Totally satisfied.

Tyler S, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am from Menomonee Falls, WI

Automotive touchup certainly delivered with their products. I ordered some primer, base coat, and clear coat to paint a small section of our vehicle after rust repair. The color was VERY close to the original color, a perfect match would be very tough for a near 14 year old car with original paint, so I wasn't expecting it to match exactly. Excellent instructions printed right on the cans made the job extremely easy. Thank you!

Dana N, owner of a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am from Colorado Springs, CO

Your paint was a great match. I watched the blending video and my spot repair was pretty simple and ended up looking great too.
