CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1970 Pontiac (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1970 Pontiac (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

David W D, owner of a 1970 Pontiac from Barberton, OH

Great product, worked great for matching the aftermarket part to my existing paint

Charles W, owner of a 1970 Pontiac Firebird from Locust Grove, GA

I ordered the Palladium Silver spray paint to do some minor touch up on some areas the body shop missed. The paint base coat went on well, as did the clear coat. Very close match to the paint the body shop applied. No one can tell the difference, and I don't honestly know if the difference is from the body shop or the spray paint. I would say that based on my problems with the body shop, it was probably the body shop. I like the product and I would buy again.

Michael L, owner of a 1970 Pontiac from North Street, MI

Easy to order website and color matched perfectly. Thank you
