CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Retta A S, owner of a 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass from Collingdale, PA

I am a 77 year old woman with an old car who was trying to save a lot of money by not taking her car to a paint shop. I had bumper paint damage from an icy snow bank this past winter. I followed directions and applied multiple coats with a bit of drying time between each coat. My car is 18 years old and in good shape. I was skeptical that you would be able to match the paint. The match is perfect. I can't tell the sprayed portion from the original portion of the bumper. I am extremely pleased that I found your sight on the internet. Thank you. You have saved an old lady much money.

Eric K, owner of a 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass from Boca Raton, FL

Used the 12 oz spray can. It's a fine mist, like booth paint sprayers. Excellent color match and saves major expense of going to body shop for minor damage. Much better alternative that dealing with the globs and poor color match from those little tubes of touchup paint.

Michael M, owner of a 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass from Upland, CA

Repaired bumpers on '99 Olds where original paint just disappeared to black plastic underneath. Paint and clear coat produced outstanding results, easily matching the original color. Now I don't have to buy my wife a new car....she is so pleased.
