Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2016 Nissan Terra is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

I purchased Automotivetouchup for my 15' Pathfinder that has/had several odd looking spots on the black hood that that were refused to be dealt with through warranty. First I purchased the dealer stocked touch up paint. Wow, I would like to have that $20 back. Too thick. Funky color suspension in the mix. I then ordered from Automotivetouchup after some research. I also purchased the finest point paint brush I could from an artist supply store. The paint, brush, and a magnifying glass allowed me to fill and color the spots. This paint is thin enough to flow into the chips or spots rather than make a gooey glob. I found a couple of other areas on the car and applied it to them also. After only 24 hours I buffed the hood and then applied wax, glaze, and a high gloss detailer. It looks very nice. I will always know where those spots are, but even I have to look pretty hard to see them now. I have ordered another small amount for my 06' Camry that has some wear and chips that I am looking forward to making disappear. I have painted cars in my past, but I never tired to deal with tiny spots and blending. I highly recommend Automotivetouchup paint
