CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Nissan NV, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Nissan paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Nissan NV is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Paul H, owner of a 2009 Nissan 370Z from New Bedford, MA

I'm very happy with the paint, perfect match you couldn't get a better match. I've brought different pieces to a professional body shop and the color was off a little, automotivetouchup was perfect they have a great product line for all your needs. I've bought clearcoat and it was awesome so as other stuff that I bought, will do business again and again this company is awesome! Thanks again,Paul

Steven K, owner of a 2009 Nissan 370Z from Milwaukee, WI

I am not good at touch-up paint, I just don't have the steady hand to do the tiny chips, at least the blending needed to get it perfect. And I tend to be heavy-handed with spray painting, which is hard to fix when you over do it. That said, I purchased both a can of spray and a bottle of touch-up for my car. I wanted the spray to fix a bumper scrape, and it worked great. Using the black/white test card is a brilliant idea, you can really see the color match when you use that. I followed the instructions to the letter, especially with the blending. The color matched perfectly. 3 light coats 10 minutes apart, and done. Unfortunately I didn't get the clear coat, so the painted spot was obvious in direct sunlight, it was dull compared to the surrounding parts, so I picked up a can of auto clear-coat locally and used that to finish the job. Next was the paint chips. Much easier than I thought when you follow the example movies on youtube. Including the time to clean the area pre-paint, it took me less than 15 minutes to clean up a dozen or so chips, and it's only obvious close up.
