CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Nissan Altima, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Nissan paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 Nissan Altima is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Brian Hart, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Plano, IL

I had previously used this website for my 17 year old truck and the color was an exact match. I bought and used a color match for my never vehicle and the color was close but not exact. It appeared to be more blue then the metallic gray it should have been. Not a big issue as the bumper cover before I painted it was just primer for a long time.

Steve Maloney, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Dracut, MA

Paint was a perfect match. Very pleased with the outcome.

William T, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Terre Haute, IN

Easy to apply. The color matches well with the older car paint. Pleased with the paint.

Joseph D, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Mount Juliet, TN

It was surprisingly really impressive I ordered the paint put the code in and a week later it was at my door and it matched the car perfectly you can’t tell a difference at all definitely cheaper and better than taking it somewhere to repaint definitely recommend and will order in the future.

John S, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Youngstown, OH

Got my metallic green paint on time . Thought it would be a hard match but it came out perfect. This is the 4th time I have used paint from automotivetouchup and have had great results every time.

David , owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from MN

Paint pen works well. Color match was perfect.

The Mick, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Stuart, FL

Great product and exact match!!!!!

Lee L, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Georgia

It wound up being an excellent match to a difficult paint color, pearl white metallic, with the proper technique. After a little trial and error, I got the results that I was looking for, a near-perfect paint match. The color on the car is two-part, plus clear coat, so patience is needed by those who have the same type of paint applied to their cars. This car belonged to my recently deceased mother, only had 16k miles on the odometer, and was always garaged, so the original paint was virtually new. My brother had whacked a curb hard enough to blow out a tire about five years ago, cracking and scratching up the lower front facia in the process. It was not severe enough to warrant a repaint of the front facia and the attendant cost. AutomotiveTouchup to the rescue! I found that dabbing on both the base and top paint coats was the ticket. Although not a problem for large chips, drawing the brush attached to the bottle along a scratch did not produce a good paint match in my experience: the gold metal flake in the top coat will concentrate too heavily and produce a darker hue. Mix the top coat thoroughly and often during your work. Also, use a very fine paint brush to dab the paint into the scratch or chip (instead of the attached cap brush) or, as I found perfect for small chips and narrow scratches, the tip of a wooden toothpick. Ultra-fine sandpaper wet sanding and rubbing compound takes out some of the heavy metal flake buildup before applying the clear coat,

Derek G, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Tallahassee, FL

Overall the process was easy and the paint does match the color. It's a little hard to apply if you don't do this often, but it does cover it up. It's not perfect, but hides the scratches. The only issue I had was the time it took to receive the order. While I know it usually takes 7-10 business days, it was well over 14 (2 weeks) for 2 paint bottles to be received. I will recommend to anyone who needs to touch up their cars Thanks,

Jim H, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Ponte Vedra, FL

I couldn't be more pleased. I repaired gouges and scrapes to my front bumper cover and door mirror then refinished them using your adhesion promoter, primer, base coat, and 2-stage clear. The color blended invisibly on the bumped and the clear coat went on wet and smooth. Looks great! All for about 15% of the cost to have it done professionally. I've since recommended your products to several friends.

Paolo, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Massachusetts

Thank you guys so much! I got everything I ordered in the promised time frame and I couldn't be more happy! Color is spot-on and the price was fantastic. Only issue is I wish there were clearer instructions on how to blend the paint. And, the rubbing compound has a lot more uses than you guys list so you should update your description.

Oleg S, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Mandeville, LA

I will never go back to painting with a compressor and guns, unless I am doing the whole car. The paint matched perfectly! Better than expected even without blending. I am absolutely pleased with results, and would recommend to anyone with a touch up job. I painted the whole bumper and fender. No mess with mixing paint, cleaning guns, and the rest of it. Sales staff great and knowledgeable. Also, great value for the money.

Wayne H, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Brighton, TN

I ordered a set of paint guns and paint. When the package arrived there was some issues with the paint guns. I contacted Automotive Touch Up that evening via e-mail with my concerns. Less than 36 hours later I had a new set of paint guns in my hands. It was great to do business with a company that takes care of its customers even after the sale, especially an online company. And the paint was a perfect match and much easier to spray then other brands I have used.

Tony G, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Orlando, FL

I have used your products several times and remain very happy with the results. As far as your customer service, I am very pleased with your response to my recent request for replacement of a can that somehow arrived with a puncture and spill inside the box. What a mess. I sent a picture as requested and anticipated and was sent a replacement right away at no cost to me. THANK YOU Automotive Touchup for maintaining my confidence in you and your product. God bless you.

Aaron, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from NH

I really didn't expect the color to be close. The car is a metallic mint green. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a perfect match. Will definitely buy from Automotive Touchup again.

Chiang B, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Key West, FL

I've tried lots of touch up paint before that I bought from automotive stores and online, that were supposed to be perfect matches and never were. The colors were always a little off. Your product matched perfect! It was great to finally make s small repair on my car that is unnoticeable. The cans of spray have enough product that there's enough left for the next repair, though I hope that never happens! Thank you

Gerald B, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Reading, PA

Great paint match, fast service, easy site.

Charles S, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Sulphur Springs, TX

Ordered from another company and it was twice the price and was just in a bottle with no brush. Yours was in a bottle like fingernail polish. Love it will order again soon. Great product!

Justin B, owner of a 2008 Nissan Altima from Cleveland, OH

I'm very pleased I'll definitely order again from this site the next project I have. Paint went on smoothly and only required a couple of coats and matched the original paint color perfectly.
