Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1996 Nissan Leaf is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Faith H, owner of a 1997 Nissan Maxima from Northport, NY

My car is an old car, a '97 Black Maxima. It had MANY MANY little scratches. I would have loved to get the whole car repainted but that would have cost thousands. So I spent the few bucks and several hours spot painting what could almost seem like chicken pox surfaces. I used the clear coat afterwards as well. Unlike many of the testimonials below, I can certainly see where I touched up the car. But in the dark when the sun isn't shining directly on the car, it looks definitely better than before. I don't know if the can of spray paint would have been a better idea because the 2 oz bottles I bought definitely leave a slightly raised touched up surface. But all in all, I was pleased and the color was definitely perfect.

Daniel R, owner of a 1997 Nissan Altima from Des Plaines, IL

Paint was a perfect match for a 20 year old car. Thank you
