CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1965 MG (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1965 MG (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Great durable exact match product.

Marc Masquelier, owner of a 1964 MG from OH

Hi, just wanted to say how much I appreciate your products. I have a wife plus three daughters who drive, and I have a bit of a car addiction myself (G35 6-speed coupe, ''64 MGB, ''60 Bugeye Sprite) so we have a lot of cars. I have finally found a touch up paint company that has a consistently good product line. Thanks, keep up the great work! - Marc Masquelier

Marc M, owner of a 1964 MG from Enon, OH

I have used Automotive Touchup paint for the past 7 years. Made the mistake of buying OEM touchup paint when I bought my daughter a car, and remembered why I switched to ATU! It goes on very smoothly, and the applicators don't drip/glob the paint on. Recently I used it to touch up the play field on our pinball machines, works very well for them as well. They really do make a superior product, I will not use anything else.
