CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1999 Mercury Mystique, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for a Mercury paint code location diagram and label example.

Did you choose the wrong vehicle model?

Did you choose the wrong model? How about the 1999 Mercury Cougar, Grand Marquis, Marauder, Mariner, Mariner Hev, Milan, Montego, Monterey, Mountaineer, Sable, Topaz, Tracer, or Villager?  If you're still not sure, take a look at our All 1999 Mercury Models page.  Or, just go to our page dedicated to Mercury Touch Up Paint

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1999 Mercury Mystique is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

John C, owner of a 1999 Mercury Mystique from Wittmann, AZ

Worked GREAT as I hoped it would. Color match was spot on!! Doesn't make the scratch totally disappear, but it's WAY MUCH BETTER than before!!!

Ron, owner of a 2000 Mercury Sable from Gardner, MA

Perfect paint match. I was able to repair and paint accident damage to rear quarter. I also had enough paint to repair fading paint on left side doors from a 12 year old accident. Still paint left over, repaired a keying incident to front fender. Thanks again for a superior product. Ron

Paul T, owner of a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis from Crescent Springs, KY

I was extremely pleased with my paint. The spray pattern was excellent, and the color match was perfect. When I need auto paint in the future, I will know exactly where to go.
