CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb or on the firewall. Click here for Mazda paint code locations and a label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Mark H, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from Rotonda West, FL

My MX5 True Red Miata had some small chips on the hood and around the headlights. The paint pen was easy to use and an EXACT color match. I couldn't be happier. Nice work Automotive Touchup.

John B, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from Honey Brook, PA

My 2007 Miata looks good as new after a little touching up with your 32V. Thanks!

John B, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from Honey Brook, PA

The V32 spray paint was a perfect match on my Miata.

Ben C, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from Vincentown, NJ

The paint match for my Miata was spot on thanks.

Karen F, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from Vandalia, OH

Took my Miata roadster down to the Tail of the Dragon this summer and picked up some nasty and very prevalent rock chips on my hood. Ordered your touch up paint and now you can't even tell where they were! Great stuff!

Fairley L, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from Asheville, NC

Used your paint pen to touch up several chips in my true red 07 mx-5. Color match was perfect and was easy to use.

Wayne G, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from Mahwah, NJ

When I bought it several weeks ago, my 2007 Mazda Miata MX-5 Grand Touring was in remarkably good shape, inside and out, but it had those inevitable scratches in the front and around door and trunk locks. The base coat, marble white paint, and clear coat did a good job of making them disappear. Good products.

Alan M, owner of a 2007 Mazda MX5 Miata from FL

I recently bought what were supposed to be pre painted urethane ground effects for my Mazda MX5, but when they arrived they were unpainted. I then found out they are no longer available painted. I used your auto paint (for spray guns) for a full quarter panel repair several years ago and was totally satisfied; the color and finish were a perfect match. This time, I went to your website and decided to give your aerosol spray cans a try. Although I was a bit apprehensive about using spray cans on these very expensive parts, the price and convenience convinced me to go that route. After watching your videos and carefully following the directions, using the adhesion promoter, primer, base coat (True Red, A4A) and clear coat, I could not be happier with the results. The color match is, once again, perfect, and the finish is just as smooth and glossy as the OEM paint on the rest of the car. The "Pro" nozzle on the cans provided for a very fine mist that was easy to control and the paint flowed very nicely, drying to a finish that easily rivals professional paint jobs using expensive equipment. I highly recommend your aerosol paint system for smaller scale paint needs. Thanks for providing such quality products.
