CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2006 Mazda CX-8, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb or on the firewall. Click here for Mazda paint code locations and a label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2006 Mazda CX-8 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Mike H, owner of a 2005 Mazda Mazda6 from Tyrone, GA

We own a small auto brokerage in Ga and I use automotive touch up for all the vehicles I buy and sell to touch up the paint myself. I have experienced great service and product and will continue using you.

Stephen G, owner of a 2005 Mazda Mazda6 from Boynton Beach, FL

Reasonably good for the 2005 Mazda 6. Not real convincing for the 2010 Mazda 10. Used clear coat on both cars also. But they do look better than before the touch up. I thought the color matches would be better, but maybe the original paint has changed over the years.
