CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Mazda Mazdaspeed6, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb or on the firewall. Click here for Mazda paint code locations and a label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2005 Mazda Mazdaspeed6 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jeff S, owner of a 2004 Mazda Mazda6 from Plainfield, IL

The color matched perfectly. Outside of little brush type touch-ups I've never done something like this before. I had door bumpers that were extremely faded. I masked the area, lightly sanded the bumpers and followed directions. Did a couple coats of base and clear and it looks great! Word of advice make sure you mask a good amount past the affected area as the paint (especially clear coat) can travel and cling to areas you don't want them too. If it does happen some work with a clay bar can fix that. Thank you for your product as it saved me major cash of what a professional would have charged.

Leigh D, owner of a 2004 Mazda RX8 from Portland, OR

I had some scratches and scrapes on my Mazda Rx8 and when a couple of the areas showed bare metal, decided something had to be done. I went to a body shop and even after telling the estimator that I was going to pay for the repair myself, got an estimate of $2700. There was no body damage, just scrapes! Then I went online and found Automotive Touchup. The paint was a perfect match, I watched the videos, and with a supplemental can of clear coat, I did the repairs myself for a total of around $50. The result is beautiful. And I saved $2650!
