Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1993 Mazda M6 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Rick, owner of a 1994 Mazda Miata from CA

We had a scrape on the rear impact bumper and minor to the quarter panel. I sanded it to feather the scrape, masked off the adjacent panels and tail light, but leaving room to blend the paint without leaving a line. I did three coats color and four clear in a day with 75 degrees high and 25% humidity and in the shade. 1994 Mazda Miata. Perfect color match. It was white, but as my artist wife says, there are lots of whites! The car itself is 24 years old, but low mileage and always garaged. So, it would have been about $300+ to have the shop repaint it. This saved both the disruption and dollars. Good product; good directions.

Richard J, owner of a 1994 Mazda B2000 from Graham, WA

Very good match to old paint job.
