Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1975 Lotus All Models is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Paul D, owner of a 2006 Lotus from Boston, MA

Perfect match. The instructions and videos were very helpful. I had a blister in the clear and in the base around a tail light recess. After repairing it, I applied 3 light coats of base and 4 light coats of clear blending the area. With some ultra fine compound and polish I was able to buff the area for a perfect blend and Pro results. Automotive touch up was the only place I could find paint for my Lotus Elise.

Steve K, owner of a 2008 Lotus from Clarksburg, MD

Thank you so much for the base coat and clear coat. You matched the paint perfectly on my 2008 lotus even in metallic, it blended perfectly. The clearcoat made it look like blown glass! I'll never shop anywhere else for touch up or matched paint supplies ever again! I really liked the custom "rattle can" mix, the nozzle gave a nice fine and even spray. Steve
