CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2012 Lincoln Aviator, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The Lincoln color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. It is two digits long and consists of numbers and/or letters. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2012 Lincoln Aviator is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

JT, owner of a 2013 Lincoln MKZ from Texas

I ordered the lacquered 3-step paint for my MKZ's lower rear valance. The painting process and instructions were flawless. The end result was an awesome looking valance EXCEPT one thing - the paint color was several shades lighter than the paint on my car. It has more of a blue hue to it, when it should have a more yellow hue. I believe the mid-coat is what needs correcting. Needless to say I installed the valance and am happy that it at least looks better than the crappy black plastic color it used to be.

Mike B, owner of a 2013 Lincoln MKX from Colorado Springs, CO

Absolutely, a perfect match, went on without a hitch, Pro Clear went on well with just the right dry time for self healing without overly long time to form sags.... You will be added to future supply needs, the first of which will be within days...
