I had my doubts that the paint would match as the car is 15 years old and is a tri coat pearl, I fixed the bumper, primed it, sanded it smooth and started painting the base, did three nice coats, followed by two coats of the mid color then two of the clear, looks great, Total investment including the plastic welder was under $100 vs $250 for a used cover and $400 to have it painted.
