CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1998 Lincoln LS, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The Lincoln color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. It is two digits long and consists of numbers and/or letters. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1998 Lincoln LS is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

C A, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from SC

Used your product on an old 1997 Lincoln Sig. Towncar. Trim had been chipped in numerous spots. Took a little while to get it to look right but it turned out well. Pleased with product. Local Lincoln-Ford dealer said that they no longer stocked or could even order the touch up paint I needed. AutomotiveTouchup saved me hundreds of dollars a professional paint shop would have charged me for the same job I did for less than $25.00. C.A. of South Carolina

Anthony S, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII from East Hartford, CT

I'm not very good on computers, but you can find pictures of my 97 MK VIII that I painted the rear bumper with your great products. If you want, go to lincolnsvscadillacs.com Go to forums, then Mark VIII. In search box type bumper paint. Look for Bumper paint by ONLYTONY. A lot of members didn't believe I did this with spray cans. Since this thread, a lot of them have purchased your products. Is my comish check in the mail? HO HO HO At this time I have 5 MK VIII's. I also have about 70 cans of different spray paints, yours of course is on the top of the list.
