Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 Lincoln Town Car is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Elroy P, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Lyons, TX

Worked as they said it would. Very pleased.

Steven C, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Cocoa Beach, FL

For $40+- i got a can of paint, clearcoat, and two wipes to prep the surface. The spray cans were the size of a standard spray can. I felt really good about the overall price for what I got in return and it showed up in the mail days early, which I was very pleased about. The paint match wasn't perfect it wasn't quite as glossy as the original but still very close. With that being said I'm no professional painter and it's a 22 year old paint job so there are many variables. I was able to paint a significant portion of my rear bumper, a football sized spot on a quarter panel, a few spots on the rear trunk lid, and 4 spots on the hood with a little paint to spare. I, a DIYer was able to save thousands of dollars vrs. going to a body shop, fixing numerous problem areas on all sides of my car and was left with a great result that I feel really good about. The whole process was very quick and painless. I will recommend to others as well as continue to bring my business here in the future. So I encourage anyone to save the big bucks and do it yourself you'll be glad you did. One last thing; make sure you do your research so your repair is done the correct way!

Leonard C, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Fayetteville, NC

Thank you for a perfect match on my paint. Several people have been compliments for my car since the touch up has been done. The finish is almost show quality. Thanks /not bad for a 21 year old car.

George H, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Pittsburgh, PA

I will upload pics as soon as it stops raining here. So I purchased color match paint from Automotive Touchup to color match a set of vent visors for a classic Lincoln Town Car. My fathers actually. It's a 1997 with the Arctic Blue Pearl Metallic. Yes a difficult color to match if you ask me. I also purchased the plastic adhesion promoter (highly recommend if painting any plastic parts). The color match paint was perfect. It is one of those paints that looks silver at first but has a real light blue effect. I am so impressed with this company. I highly recommend purchasing through them. The value is worth it and their prices are reasonable. I am so happy with the paint they made us. We will be loyal customers for years to come. Thanks All.

These guys did a great job delivering a product of high quality that matched my paint color perfectly. The price is reasonable also. I saw a review that a fella had complained about the total cost of his order due to shipping/handling cost. I just wanted to saw as a small business owner myself with an online sales presence. The shipping costs are due to the rates of the shipping carrier. No fault of the company you are buying items from.

Eric G, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Granby, MA

I'm cutting my teeth on automotive finishing, and the products have been very good to work with so far. The paint seems to match very well considering the car is almost 20 years old. Now I just have to hone my technique a bit to get a totally hidden repair. Thanks for being a great company, and making this level of product available for DIY'ers. Eric G.

Wayne D, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Deltona, FL

The color matchup is perfect. My only complaint is the shipping and handling cost is high. This $19.00 item cost me $30 with S & H and Tax.

Robert S, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Hendersonville, NC

Delivery was right on time. Packing was excellent. The color match was perfect. My passenger door was scraped along the plastic at the bottom of the door. In a dark blue car the white scratches that showed really caught your eye. The touch up paint was hard to apply really smooth with the brush supplied. (first time I have done this type of work) The area to cover was bigger than just a ding. The end result was excellent. The color supplied blended very well and the it shined up so that you had to look real hard to begin to see where it was applied. Highly recommended. Would use this product again.

C A, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from SC

Used your product on an old 1997 Lincoln Sig. Towncar. Trim had been chipped in numerous spots. Took a little while to get it to look right but it turned out well. Pleased with product. Local Lincoln-Ford dealer said that they no longer stocked or could even order the touch up paint I needed. AutomotiveTouchup saved me hundreds of dollars a professional paint shop would have charged me for the same job I did for less than $25.00. C.A. of South Carolina

Dennis R, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Palm Springs, CA

Both the metallic paint and clearcoat products were excellent. This vehicle has spent 10 winters outside but the paint matched the adjoining panels perfectly. I highly recommend this product and will be ordering more for another vehicle.. Dennis Redden

Timothy S, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Pickerington, OH

Paint went on well and matched perfectly. Now if I can get better at bodywork all my scratches and dents will disappear.

Anna S, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Jacksonville, FL

Thank you very much. The paint matched perfectly and you made my husband very happy.

Rolando B, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Brooklyn, NY

Color match was great, thanks for excellent customer service as well. Would highly recommend.

Walter P, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Orange, CT

Paint arrived on time. Couldn't find anyplace else that carried the colors I needed in a spray can. Thought I was going to have to buy a couple of quarts of the two-part paint and then waste 85% of it on a relatively small repair to a rocker panel.

Anthony G, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from San Diego, CA

Great product perfect match and fast delivery, would definitely buy from them again.

Chip R, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Raleigh, NC

Hi.  The color you sent me for my Lincoln matched perfectly.  You folks are real pros.  Thank you.

William F, owner of a 1997 Lincoln Town Car from Shickshinny, PA

Great product, I could not be any happier. I am not a profesional but it looks that way. Thank you.
