Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1995 Lincoln Mark is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Gerald L, owner of a 1996 Lincoln Town Car from Lakeland, MI

1996 LINCOLN TOWN CAR. This car was found in a garage in Bay City, Michigan where it slept for ten years. It has 77,000 miles on it and the body shows no signs of rust or corrosion anywhere. It was involved in an accident and the drivers side doors were replaced from another vehicle. The edge of the roof was involved and the quarter panel. Cypress Gold Frost is a very complicated color and next to impossible to duplicate. No matter how true this statement may be, the paint on the repair is a perfect match. I don't know how long ago it was done but that newer paint hits the mark. Can't believe it. Because of the underlying structure of the body and the paint match I bought it. It looks like a new car, only three scratches in the paint work. Your color looks great in the garage. When the car is out in direct daylight, not strong sunlight, the touch up shows a lot of grey. It almost looks like the primer. It is all I have and am grateful for it but it needs more gold. I am sure you followed the formula of the original recipe but whether it is on the original factory color or the repaint it shows the same.
