To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. The color match was perfect, but I found out the hard way that black was not the primer I wanted. My mistake, but it would have been nice to have someone at your end call and ask me if I planned on using the base coat over that primer. I also proved you correct about applying too many coats of base coating because it does have a tendency to get darker. The only reason for a 4 versus a 5 rating was that after several tries I still wasn't able to get the clear gloss that the original car had and I've done several minor repair and blending paint jobs. Very happy with the paint. I had an older golf cart that had some paint lift off the front hood. The paint color was the same as a Lexus color. Bought the products needed and happy with results. They were out of stock on the adhesive primer spray but recommended another product. Ordered their gray primer, base paint and clear topcoat. Website had some video tips.
