To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2015 Lexus ES, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I scraped the bumper on the 2014 Lexus and took it to the body shop for an estimate. Thought it might be a couple of hundred dollars but it turned out to be 1200 to fix. That didn't make sense to me, and thinking if I try to repair it myself and screw it up I was not going to do any damage that would increase the original repair estimate. The repair turned out great.
