CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Lexus IS-F, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Lexus paint code location and paint code image sample.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 Lexus IS-F is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Vidur C, owner of a 2008 Lexus IS-F from Salt Lake City, UT

Paint matches perfectly and the consistency is perfect for my touch up paint pen. Cars look like new!

Claudia A, owner of a 2007 Lexus LS460 from TX

I was very pleased with the paint match for my 2007 Lexus. I had damage from a car door in a parking lot which creased my metal and left paint. Your paint color was perfect with the blend of the original older paint. The car ding can only be seen now if you view the crease at a certain angle. Now to touch up a few of the small spots. Thank you.
