CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Lexus LS400, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. Perfect match on the basecoat. Could not be any happier! Had to repaint the spoiler on the trunk of the Lexus SC430. It was easy to mask off the spoiler without removing from the vehicle. Light wet sanding to smooth out the clearcoat that had started flaking. Paint sprayed very smooth with no clogging. Waited a day and sprayed the two part clear. Sprayed 5 coats, expecting to do some sanding buffing later. Clear sprayed very smooth and may not even need buffing. Great products!
