To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. I had a few dings and scratches on my 2005 Lexus RX 330. We took it to a local body shop and were told that we needed to repaint the whole vehicle at a cost of $4,000. If we didn't it would look like a leopard. Instead, I ordered the color to match and did it myself. It isn't perfect, but the color matched perfectly. No spots! The paint is very metallic and covers well. You will need to apply clear coat over the fresh paint to make it look like the original paint.
