To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2004 Lexus RX300, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. The quality of the paint was excellent. I liked the way it dispersed when applied. However, the clear coat was too thick, leaving an uneven surface. From a distance, the color looks pretty good, but it is lighter than the original. Oh well, at least it won't rust.
