Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Vogue is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Excellent products with almost clear instructions. I used the aerosol spray system to paint two new mirror covers for my 2016 Range Rover. Scuff pad, grey primer, tack cloth, sandpaper pack, base color, clear coat, rubbing compound did 95% of the job. The only thing missing from the online instructions was to use the hand glaze after the rubbing compound; you guys need to add that to your instructions. I ended up ordering that separately after using the rubbing compound and realizing the finish was not glasslike. I will definitely use your products and instructions in the future. I really like how the spray comes out of the can in a “vertical” stream; that is very unique. I had a metallic base and it was perfect.
